Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 17 July 2026
Direct Marketing Solutions Group Pty Ltd ("DMSG", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Our SMS and other electronic communications are also conducted in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and, where telemarketing calls are involved, the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).
This policy applies both to individuals who interact with us directly (for example, through our website or AI chat assistant) and to individuals whose contact details are provided to us by our business clients for the purpose of re-engagement and appointment-setting services, as described in Section 2 below.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following personal information:
-
Contact details (name, email address, phone number, business address)
-
Company name, job title, and website details
-
Appointment booking information and related communications
-
SMS conversation history and responses
-
Call recordings and voice transcriptions (where applicable)
-
AI chat interactions and conversation data
-
Technical information (IP address, device ID, browser type, operating system)
-
Payment information (processed securely by third parties)
-
Any other information you voluntarily provide to us
How We Collect Information, and Information We Receive From Our Clients
Directly from you, through:
-
Website contact and booking forms
-
AI chat assistants and AI voice agents
-
SMS and email communications
-
Cookies, analytics tools, and website tracking technologies
From our business clients, who engage us to provide AI-assisted lead re-engagement, appointment-setting, and enquiry-management services. If you have previously provided your contact details to one of our clients — for example, as a sales lead, enquiry, or customer — that client may provide your details to us so that we can contact you on their behalf.
Where we receive your information from a client in this way:
-
We act as a service provider to that business, and rely on the lawful basis and consent under which our client originally collected your information.
-
We require our clients to confirm, as a condition of engaging our services, that they hold express or inferred consent to contact you, consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Inferred consent is only relied upon where there is a genuine, ongoing relationship between you and our client and the subject matter of our message is directly related to that relationship — it is not relied upon on the basis of a single past transaction alone.
-
The first message you receive from us will identify the business on whose behalf we are contacting you, and will explain how you can opt out.
-
We do not purchase, scrape, or acquire contact lists from data brokers or unrelated third parties. We only contact individuals on behalf of the specific business that provided us with their details.
If you believe you should not have been contacted, or want to know which of our clients provided your details, contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will address this promptly.
Purposes for Collecting and Using Information
We collect and use personal information to:
-
Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
-
Deliver our AI-assisted lead re-engagement, outreach, and appointment-setting services on behalf of our clients
-
Schedule, manage, and confirm appointments
-
Send service-related SMS notifications and reminders
-
Improve our AI systems, services, and user experience
-
Process payments and manage client accounts
-
Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations
Artificial Intelligence
We use artificial intelligence technologies to power parts of our services, including generating, personalising, and sending communications. AI may be used to qualify leads, draft responses, schedule appointments, and analyse conversations. All AI-generated content is subject to human review for quality assurance, accuracy, and compliance.
SMS Communications
Consent and source. You may receive SMS messages from DMSG either because you provided your mobile number to us directly (for example, through a booking or enquiry form), or because a business you have previously engaged with has provided your number to us so that we may re-engage with you on their behalf, as described in Section 2. In either case, by providing your mobile number, or by responding to an SMS from us, you consent to receiving messages relating to your enquiry, appointment, or the re-engagement purpose described above.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us and the service being provided, and may range from a single message to several messages over the course of a conversation or engagement.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of marketing and promotional SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us using the details in Section 13. Reply HELP for assistance. Certain transactional and service-related messages (such as appointment confirmations and reminders) are necessary for the provision of our services to you while you remain a client or an active party to a scheduled appointment, and cannot be opted out of while that engagement is ongoing.
No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data
We do not share, sell, or disclose your SMS opt-in status or consent data with any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data is used solely to provide the services described in this policy.
Sender Identification
Our messages will identify the business on whose behalf they are sent, and, where a branded sender ID is used, that sender ID is registered in accordance with the ACMA SMS Sender ID Register requirements applying from 1 July 2026.
These messages may be sent using automated systems (A2P messaging).
Call Recording and Transcription
Where AI voice agents or phone services are used, calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, staff training, dispute resolution, service improvement, and regulatory compliance. An automated disclosure will notify you that the call may be recorded at the commencement of the call, and you may request to speak with a representative who is not being recorded, where required by applicable law.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyse traffic, and improve our services. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings, although this may affect some website functionality.

-
protect your personal information;
-
use it only for the purposes we specify in order to deliver our services to you; and
-
not use your personal information, including your SMS opt-in or consent data, for their own independent marketing purposes.
Overseas Disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers — particularly our AI platform providers and SMS gateway providers, which are commonly based in the United States — may store or process personal information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipients handle your personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual protections with those providers.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organisational measures to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
Data Retention
